Ingredients for the homemade bread recipe, simple recipe, with a little yeast

  • 1 kg of flour
  • 600-650 ml of warm water
  • 10 g of fresh yeast or 3 g of dry yeast
  • a teaspoon of salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons of oil

How do we prepare the homemade bread recipe, a simple recipe with a little yeast?

You can read the recipe written below or find at the end the video recipe, where you can see how to prepare everything, step by step, explained in detail.

We make a crater in the middle of the flour and pour the water.

We also put the yeast in the middle, and we put a teaspoon of salt on one side. You can make the yeast dough separately, if you wish.

We mixed everything very well. Add the rest of the water.

Knead from the edge to the middle, like wraps.

Gradually add oil and knead the dough.

Kneading lasts 5 minutes, it is enough.

Tips from Gina Bradea

-Instead of fresh yeast you can use 3 g of dry yeast, which is mixed directly into the flour.

-Instead of water you can use milk, and the bread will be much finer.

Let the dish covered with a napkin to leaven. The leavening time varies depending on how hot the dough is.

If you want it to rise faster, turn the oven to low, then turn it off until it is warm. Put the dough bowl in the oven.

The dough should double in volume.

After the dough has risen, sprinkle the worktop with flour, grease our hands with oil and turn the dough over.

Fold the dough a little, then give it an oval shape.

Place the bread in the bowl lined with baking paper. I used a cast iron pot. Let the dough rise for another 30 minutes in the bowl that we will put in the oven.

How to bake homemade bread?

The oven must be heated to maximum, fire up and down, in the electric oven. In gas ovens, maximum fire. In the first 15 minutes we put a pot of water in the oven, then we take out the pot, we leave it for another 5 minutes, then we reduce the temperature to 170-180 degrees Celsius, we leave it for another 30-40 minutes.

Baking takes about 1 hour.

Remove the bread from the oven, sprinkle it with a little water and let it cool, if we still have patience. & # 128539

Wholemeal bread with seeds, simple and quick recipe

For a very long time, I keep saying that from tomorrow I will make bread at home, but I still postponed, probably out of convenience, thinking that it will not come out according to my expectations.

Today, being Sunday and all the shops in the area being closed, I thought it was time to make a loaf of bread. By surprise, I didn't have much white flour in the pantry, instead I found a bag of wholemeal flour. Hence the idea of doing it with seeds, better than not. I got to work and you will see what came out during the recipe.

How to make wholemeal bread with seeds, a simple and quick recipe?

  • 300 g wholemeal flour
  • 400 g white flour type 650 + sprinkled work surface

  • 20 g of fresh yeast
  • 400-450 ml of lukewarm water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon caster sugar
  • 3-4 tablespoons of oil

For starters we will put half of the lukewarm water in a bowl with the yeast and half the amount of wholemeal flour, salt, oil and sugar. Mix and leave the bowl covered with a kitchen towel or a food foil to activate the yeast.

Mix the rest of the wholemeal flour with the white flour and 100 grams of the seed mix.

Put the mixture of dry ingredients over the yeast composition, add the water difference and knead until you get an elastic and homogeneous dough.

Put the dough in a bowl greased with oil and covered with a kitchen towel or a food foil to leaven until it doubles in volume.

After leavening, remove the dough on a work surface sprinkled with a little flour and spread in a rectangular shape. Fold in 3 and run as seen in the photos.

Spread the rest of the seeds on the table, grease the bread with water and pass it through the seeds until they stick well to the dough.

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.

Leave to rise again for 30-35 minutes, depending on how hot it is in the kitchen.

Bake for 20 minutes at 220 degrees, then reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes. We take it out on a grill and let it cool, after which we can slice it.

First, you need to put some ingredients on the table:

- a teaspoon and a half of sugar

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 240 gr of wholemeal flour

For the glaze:

The way to prepare bread with seeds is the following:

First, put hot water in a bowl, add the sugar and then the dry yeast. Stir continuously until you get a smooth mix, then set everything aside for 10 minutes. After that, add the olive oil, the seed mixture and, slowly, pour in the rain and the two types of flour in the bowl mixture. Knead the crust until you notice that it no longer sticks to the walls of the vessel. The process should take 15-20 minutes, the goal being to obtain a homogeneous and slightly elastic dough.

Then grease another bowl with oil, this time at least twice the diameter of the piece of coke. Put the latter in the bowl, shaping it into a sphere. After that, cover it with a towel and let it rise for at least an hour in a warmer place in the kitchen. All this time, turn on the oven, preheating it to 220 degrees Celsius.

When the time has elapsed, knead the dough again for two to three minutes, then give it the desired shape and place it in a tray previously greased with a little oil. Prepare the egg white bread icing and water and grease the dough shaped with it. After that, sprinkle your favorite seeds on top.

Homemade bread with seeds should be baked at 220 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes, after which the temperature should be lowered to 200 degrees Celsius for another 10 minutes or until ready. You can check this using a toothpick.

At the end, take the preparation out of the oven, let it cool and slice it or, as the case may be, store it in a paper bag.

Seed bread

I have a very special relationship with this seed bread.
It is one of the dishes that I consider magical, with life and will of its own but with which you interact directly and it needs your energy to grow and transform.

I love to make bread, to knead the dough, to see it leaven and grow in the oven.

Whenever I do that, I remember my grandmother and my mother.

From childhood I witnessed making bread at home, in the country with my grandparents and baking it in large clay ovens.
Each week several women gathered and baked in the oven of one of them, and the following week in the oven of another.
When he was ready to bake and everyone took their bread home, he smelled the whole street behind them, fresh bread.

My mother also often makes bread in unexpected combinations: with seeds, carrots and / or spinach.

From it I learned to feel the texture of a good dough and not necessarily take it by measured quantities.

However, I have shown below as much as I could exactly what and how I use.

If you also want to prepare this bread with seeds, you will find the ingredients and the steps you need to follow below.
