Some time ago in a comment left on one of my biscuit recipes, Rosita intrigued me talking about the mayonnaise biscuits posted on the Arab happy blog despite the somewhat unusual ingredient I decided to try them too and I was really impressed , very crumbly, buttery biscuits that don't taste like mayonnaise. If you are also a little daredevil in the kitchen, dare and prepare these mayonnaise cookies and only after having tasted them and having been complimented on the cookies, say what the main ingredient is;)
From the original recipe I reduced a bit of butter and mayonnaise and I must say that the experiment can be said to be successful.

How to make mayonnaise cookies

Whip the butter with the sugar until creamy.
Now add the mayonnaise and mix it into the mixture with a spoon.Add the flour and completely incorporate it into the dough
You will need to get a soft and non-sticky dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put it in the fridge to rest for 30 minutes

Gradually take some dough and with your hands form small cylinders and balls that you will roll in granulated sugar. Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and flatten the cookies slightly with the tines of a fork.

Bake or mayonnaise biscuits for about 12-13 minutes in a preheated oven at 190 °. The cookies must remain a light color, they will be ready when you see their edges brown.

Allow the mayonnaise biscuits to cool before lifting them from the pan then serve
