A video of Marie Pope epically sinking a shot during beer pong for her 100th birthday is going viral

You’re never too old to have a little fun.

College frat bros, meet your newest (and unexpected) beer pong competition: Marie Pope. The video shows Pope — outfitted with a 100th birthday sash — sinking a perfect shot like a total pro while surrounded by her family in a Chicago suburb.

The July 30 video that was posted to Facebook has since gone viral with almost 180,000 views after it was picked up by the Huffington Post. “My grandma just turned 100...she’s still crushing beer pong,” the video is captioned.

“It was an excellent time, a really wonderful occasion,” Pope told The Huffington Post. It was also her first time playing beer pong, she added, and she followed up the game with a celebratory birthday shot but did not drink too much beer for the occasion.

You can watch the video below.

Watch People Panic When This "Beer Pong Queen" Grandma Slays the Winning Shot

You've seen smoking grandmas. You've seen Fireball-slinging grandmas. Now please make way for this "beer pong queen" grandma: She is quite literally a champion.

Lexi Richens doesn't explain why her grandma is at a party full of loud youths or how she became part of the game to begin with, but she does capture the exact moment "Nan" wins. The reaction it invoked was similar to how I behaved when the Super Bowl was finally over, and captures how you, too, might react if you were to see a seemingly innocent grandma casually destroy a college kid in a drinking game.

From there, the night got even crazier, as there's also a video of this lady pounding a beer funnel relentlessly. I don't know whether to be (1) thoroughly impressed, (2) a little salty that I was never this good at drinking, or (3) concerned for the well-being of this little old champion. Let's go with all of the above.
